Catholic Societies & Associations

Catholics aim to live out love in action as an essential part of Gospel living. That's why Catholics get involved in a whole range of voluntary work – whether that means serving the poor, the homeless, prisoners, young people, the missions, or in pro-life work, campaigning for justice and peace or migrants and aslyum seekers.

A wide variety of spiritual associations exist too, offering information on retreats, pilgrimages and prayer and a vast amount of support and fellowship. A number of professional and vocational clubs offer spiritual norishment and guidance for those Catholics working in careers including medicine, education, the arts, the law, public service, the police and the theatre.
